Sonia Pedrazzini is a designer with DNA Mediterranean, she  grew up in Capri the `"Island of the Sirens" – subsequently moving to Rome where she graduated in Industrial Design at  the ISIA. She has collaborated with the German agency Dieter Bakic Design in Muenchen where she specialized in packaging for the cosmetics industry. In 1996 she opened her own studio in Piacenza and beyond  creating products for the market, she dedicates time to more experimental, inquisitive projects, bordering  between art, design and communication. She has always accompanied her work as a  designer with the activities of  freelance journalists, lecturer and coordinator. She has conceived and curated many publishing and educational projects and is involved – both theoretically and practically– in popular and cultural aspects of contemporary society.

Sonia Pedrazzini è una designer con il DNA mediterraneo, è cresciuta a Capri - l’“Isola delle Sirene”- e dopo gli studi classici si è laureata in Disegno Industriale all’ISIA di Roma. Ha collaborato con l’agenzia Dieter Bakic Design a Monaco di Baviera dove si è specializzata in packaging per il settore cosmetico. Nel 1996 ha aperto lo studio a Piacenza e oltre a realizzare prodotti per il mercato, sviluppa progetti più sperimentali e di ricerca, al confine tra arte, design e comunicazione. All’attività di designer ha da sempre accostato anche quella di pubblicista, docente e coordinatrice. Ha ideato e curato progetti didattici ed editoriali e si occupa - sia a livello teorico che applicativo - degli aspetti culturali e pop della società contemporanea.
